PRESCOTT AIRPORT RUNWAY PROJECT TO START MAY 8

Originally Airport staff had anticipated construction activities to begin during the middle of January. A contract has now been awarded to A. Miner Construction and work is slated to start during the week of May 8th.  Work will begin in the area of Delta 6 Taxiway.  Be sure to check NOTAMS for airport area closures.  They will strive to keep this information current and updated as the project progresses.  You may find the most current information for this project the Airport Planning and Development web page at:http://www.prescott-az.gov/services/airport/plan.php by clicking on the “Upcoming & Current Construction” expandable tab.

NEW AIRPORT SWEEPER HAS ARRIVED


Airport users sa the new  vacuum sweeper has done an amazing job of cutting down on the FOD on the airport. The new sweeper is used by the streets division during weekdays and by the airport at night and on the weekends.
