First Flights: Complimentary plane rides to introduce youngsters to aviation; parental release required

In the Hangar
Flying Fun Kids Area: This special section for kids will include Hands-On Activities provided by the Winslow Public Library (foam gliders, paper airplanes, Tri-Motor coloring pages, plus information on library programming for kids), a Celestron 16-inch telescope from the Winslow-Homolovi Observatory, and an interactive World Travel Map where kids of all ages can pin their favorite travel destinations.
Flying Through History Area: This section will include the Old Trails Museum exhibit Flying through History: The Winslow-Lindbergh Regional Airport; The Swamp Ghost and World War II exhibit; Historian Erik Berg talking about his writings and display of artifacts on aviation in the Southwest; Former Civil Air Patrol instructor Dale Mansfield talking about his display of WWI aircraft models
High Desert Silent Auction, 7 to 11 am: Bid on items donated by local individuals and businesses.
Homolovi Star Party: Go to Homolovi's Visitor Center Museum and Observatory around thirty minutes after sunset that evening for Homolovi's Star Party; Free with the cost of park entry
