The presentation will be a brief overview of the history of wildlife strikes in civil aviation and the development of the reporting database. Questions about the purpose of reporting and what happens afterwards will be addressed. Scenarios will also be presented to address pilot actions to take in the event of a wildlife strike. There will be additional information available to take home after the session. The event duration is approximately 90 minutes.
